Nurturing Homes, for Brighter Futures
Every child deserves a safe space to call home.
Our Mission
At If They Care, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported. We believe love is a key ingredient to recovery, helping to turn trauma into trust and neglect into belonging. We provide high-quality, safe children’s homes for young people who need a nurturing environment where they can heal, grow, and thrive. Our homes are designed to create a family-like setting, where we encourage warm and positive relationships with staff and other residents.
We create stable, caring homes where children can rebuild their sense of trust, confidence, and positive relationships. We’re committed to providing a safe and supportive environment that meets the emotional, physical, and developmental needs of every child in our care.

What If They had a safe space to call home…
What If They were surrounded by people who demonstrated unconditional love…
What If They were not subjected to mental or physical abuse…
What If They had opportunities and support to fulfill their dreams…
Imagine what these children could become!
By providing each child with trauma-informed care, educational support, life skills, independence training and respect, we hope to help develop confidence in each child helping them to reach their own personal goals.
Aims

We support each child’s personal development through tailored education, life skills training, and emotional guidance. Our focus is on helping every young person grow in confidence, independence, and resilience.
To Prevent
At If They Care, we don’t work to put out fires; we work to prevent them! Our team proactively prevents placement breakdowns, re-traumatization, and negative life outcomes. By providing stability, early intervention, and individualized care, we aim to break cycles of harm and create lasting positive change. With our strategic planning, we hope to reduce incidences of:
– Self-Harm
– Youth Crime
– Child Exploitation
– Missing Persons
To Provide
We provide a safe, welcoming, and consistent home where children can experience genuine care, form healthy attachments, and feel part of a supportive community. If they care, they have prepared robust procedures to encourage:
– Building Self-Confidence
– Encouragement to achieve educational achievements
– Support to explore potential future careers
– A sense of love through building positive relationships with other residents and staff.
To Thrive
We want every child not just to survive but to truly thrive. Through encouragement, celebration of strengths, and long-term support, we empower children to imagine and achieve brighter futures.
